Ski vacations Bezau- Holidays for young and old!
Bezau
The tranquil and cosy village of Bezau is the main town in the Bregenzerwald. As far as the eye can see, the white-green tones of the snow-covered forests mingle with the wood-clad farmhouses. There is probably no better place to experience the authenticity of the area than in the local history museum. The parish church of St Jodok is also well worth a visit. In addition to this idyllic setting, there is also a wide range of leisure activities for young and old. Whether snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing or tobogganing, you won't get bored here. And for all adrenaline junkies, a holiday in the Bregenzerwald is definitely worthwhile, as Andelsbuch is home to one of the highest climbing towers in Austria at 22.30 metres.Bregenzerwald
The Bregenzerwald is located between Lake Constance and the Arlberg in the far west of Austria. The northern part of the region is hilly, towards the south the valley becomes narrower and the mountains rise more steeply. The Bregenzerwald has been strongly influenced by its Swabian and Swiss neighbours and old traditions are still upheld today. A good example of this is the "Cheese Route", an association of farmers, innkeepers, craftsmen and commercial enterprises dedicated to traditional cheese production. So don't miss out on trying the "Bregenzerwald mountain cheese". The region is also renowned for its guaranteed snow: Enjoy over 506 kilometres of pistes and the beautiful panorama of the Bregenzerwald!Travel Bezau
