Ski area Megève/Saint-Gervais

With 263 kilometres of piste, the ski area of Megève is the largest area in the "Evasion Mont-Blanc" ski region, which offers a total of 468 km of pistes in the areas of Megève, Saint Gervais, Les Contamines and Les Portes du Mont-Blanc. Winter sports enthusiasts will find a very varied area here, where a French ski star grew up: Émile Allais, bronze medallist at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He is one of Megève's most famous sons and the piste of the same name is still dedicated to him today. Recreational skiing on wide pistes predominates in the ski region. The forest passages on Mont d'Arboise and the piste on Rochebrune, for example, are particularly attractive. On cold days, the pistes on the southern slopes of the Jaillet are very popular.

Experts also get their money's worth in the region around Megève. For example, they will find their challenges on the Super Megève and on the slopes of the Èpaule. You will also find particularly varied terrain above Les Contamines on the Col du Joly. You can create your own ski video on the ski movie trail at Waidzai Park.

Numerous variants for freeriders can be found on Mont Joux, near Crève-Coeur and on Rochebrune. Two snow parks will inspire the freestylers among you.

Après ski Megève

Après ski in Megève has less to do with hit songs and schnapps and more to do with enjoying a drink in a stylish atmosphere in the evening. To this end, there are not only several bars such as La Sauvageonne or the Cocoon Club to choose from, but also the Palo Alto discotheque and a casino. There is also a large selection of top restaurants that will spoil you with regional and international specialities. Megève is famous for its nightlife. In the high season, you can also meet Parisian high society here.

The leisure activities on offer in Megève are just as exceptional as the atmosphere of the village. The village is internationally renowned for its snow polo and snow golf events. The local ski school offers taster courses in biathlon and dog sledding is also possible. The Savoyard village also scores highly in terms of classic-style activities. Whether swimming or taking a sauna, ice skating (indoor and outdoor) or curling, snowshoeing or tobogganing - you're guaranteed not to get bored here! For relaxation, you can visit one of the many spas.

It's also worth visiting the village's local museum, the Musée du Haut Val d'Arly.

Snowpark: Waidzai Park snow park Megève

Freestylers will find two snow parks in the ski areas around Megève. The Waidzai Park is located on Rochebrune above the village itself, right next to the Grands Champs lifts. Here you can not only let off steam on the ten different obstacles, but also have yourself filmed! The offer also includes a boardercross course.

The second fun park is located between the two Mont-Joux chair lifts. Various kickers, rails, tubes and boxes are available here, as well as an airbag for those who prefer to practise daring jumps with a soft landing first.
