In the Innsbruck region, cross-country skiers have a total of around 120 kilometres of trails at their disposal. The trails are very varied and lead through urban and rural areas. The free cross-country skiing ski bus is very practical and takes you comfortably to the individual areas.
The medium-difficulty route from Innsbruck to Rinn, for example, measures a full 46 kilometres. In Gries in Sellraintal there is also a floodlit trail with a length of 1 km for beginners. A 30-kilometre cross-country trail runs from Mutters via Götzens to Natters. In the Natters-Neugötzens cross-country ski trail centre, there are further groomed trails with a total length of around 10 km. Beginners have the opportunity to take cross-country skiing lessons.
