Information on cross-country skiing

In Eisenerz Ramsau, not far from the centre of Eisenerz, you will find 25 km of cross-country ski trails designed for classic and skating styles. The cross-country ski trail is considered to have the best snow conditions in Styria and has been awarded the Styrian cross-country ski trail seal of approval. Its ideal location at a sunny altitude of 955 - 1,070 m at the foot of the Kaiserschild (2,085 m) makes it extremely attractive for cross-country skiers of all abilities. The three cross-country skiing circuits run over gently undulating alpine pastures past the impressive ski jumping and biathlon facility of the Erzberg Arena (training centre for athletes of the Nordic Training Centre NAZ) and offer a fantastic view of the "Styrian landmark", the Erzberg.
