The charming resort Lenk is located in the Simmen Valley at an altitude of 1,068 m.This traditional resort is know for its many sunny days and hardly any wind. Furthermore the snow conditions and other sports facilities for both skiers and boarders are ideal, but also handicapped sports fans will find many helpful facilities. Throughout the years Lenk has developed into a central ski resort for winter sports fans and with the ski area Adelboden-Lenk you will find the whole range of possibilities, from challenging descents to wallower's runs.Lenk also has a wide variety of offers to stay sporty after sundown or if you wish to relax why don't you go on a cosy horse-drawn sleigh ride through the picturesque valley. Note: The resorts Adelboden and Lenk are located in 2 separate valleys and are only connected by the pistes.
Adelboden-Lenk
The Adelboden-Lenk region is centrally located in the western part of the Bernese Oberland and wins guests over with its hospitable resorts. Guests can spoil their taste buds in the many rustic lodges and restaurants or devote themselves to the large cultural and sports opportunities. Adelboden-Lenk offers one of the largest winter sports area in the Bernese Oberland with approx. 220 km. The area trumps with super pistes and modern lifts. It's no wonder, then, that the winter area is home to traditional FIS world cup races.
