The Jungfrau Region also offers cross-country skiing enthusiasts a few beautiful trails in impressive mountain scenery. The "Lauterbrunnen-Stechelberg-Lauterbrunnen" trail is one of the longest in the region at 12 km. It leads past the white Lütschine river and frozen waterfalls, finally ending in the rear Lauterbrunnen Valley.
The "Bussalp" high-altitude trail in Grindelwald is also highly recommended, rewarding you with fantastic panoramic views at an altitude of 1,800 m. Another highlight is the floodlit trail in the Grindelwald glacier gorge at an altitude of 1,000 m.
