The ski area Mariborosko Pohorje offers 41.5 km of piste and 22 lifts and therefore forms the largest winter sports centre of Slovenia. It comprises 250 ha and provides access to 13 blue, nine red and three black pistes running along the mountain face of the Pohorje range. Situated right in front of the gates of Maribor, the ski area is only a few minutes bus ride away and is located at 1,327 m altitude. In the very rare and exceptional case that the precipitation should not suffice, 95% of the pistes can also be covered by artificial snow. The ski area operators guarantee 100 days of snow during the season!

With various easy slopes for beginners, a number of ski schools and a children's play area with time-track piste, this ski area is perfectly designed for families with children. Experts and all those looking for a challenge can enjoy themselves on the FIS slalom slope and the unprepared ski route Jonatan just below the gondola Pohorska Vzpenjaca.
