Cross-country trails (in km):
Cross-country skiers get their money's worth in St. Walburg: the perfectly groomed ‘Ultner Loipe’ trail leads through the sunny valley floor. It is around 25 km long (a good 12 km each way) and takes Nordic athletes through the magnificent landscape of the Ultner Valley. Along the Zoggler reservoir and past the picturesque villages of St. Walburg, St. Nikolaus and St. Gertraud with their old farms, there is plenty for runners to see along the way. The trail lies at altitudes between 1,190 m and 1,519 m and is of medium difficulty. In addition to the classic track, there is also plenty of space for skating. A fee is payable for the use of the cross-country ski trail.
