Ski area Madonna di Campiglio/Pinzolo/Folgarida-Marilleva
The Madonna di Campiglio ski area itself has 60 km of pistes and 20 lifts. Most of the lifts start right in the centre and the predominantly easy to intermediate pistes will delight beginners and leisure skiers in particular. But experts are also catered for: the famous FIS piste "3-Tre", which hosts the men's slalom World Cup, and the "Spinale Direttissima" on Monte Spinale are guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping! The floodlit "Canalone Miramonti" piste provides evening fun, while boarders and freeriders can let off steam in numerous freeride and deep snow areas as well as in two large snowparks: The snowpark on the Grostè attracts visitors with its many lines and obstacles and is even considered one of the largest in Europe! Neighbouring Pinzolo offers another fun park with a half-pipe.
Folgarida-Marilleva impresses with its family-friendly atmosphere and offers a wide range of options for all skill levels - from gentle beginner slopes to challenging descents for professionals, a snowpark for freestylers and floodlit pistes for night skiing. Thanks to the modern infrastructure and the scenic beauty of the Brenta Dolomites, the ski area is an ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts who appreciate variety and comfort.
In "Pinzolo" you have access to a small but fine family ski area around the Doss del Sabion with a total of 30 kilometres of piste. There are 14 lifts between 770 and 2,101 metres above sea level. The predominantly easy and gentle to moderately difficult slopes are perfect for gaining your first experience in the snow. There is also a holiday programme specially designed for children, which is why families also like this manageable ski area.
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.05% or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.Night skiing Madonna di Campiglio/Pinzolo/Folgarida-Marilleva
In addition to gelato and dolce vita, Italy of course also offers night skiing. Not far from Madonna di Campiglio in the night skiing area around Folgarida Marilleva, skiers have the chance to enjoy the night on skis. The perfectly groomed pistes are open for night skiing several times a week. Young and old alike can then enjoy the spectacularly illuminated descent until long after dark and savour the view over the floodlit valley. This not only pleases all those who can never get enough of skiing, but also those who enjoy skiing. The huts and restaurants on the piste and in the valley invite you to linger over a hot mulled wine, punch or tea during the extended skiing fun.Après ski Madonna di Campiglio/Pinzolo/Folgarida-Marilleva
For sporting activities, there is an indoor pool and an ice rink. There are also opportunities for snowshoe hiking or a romantic ride on a dog sled through the snowy winter landscape. Snowpark Madonna di Campiglio/Pinzolo/Folgarida-Marilleva: Ursus Snowpark, Brenta Park
There are two snowparks in the Madonna di Campiglio ski area: the Ursus Snowpark is one of the best snowparks in Europe! The renowned area is located near the top station of the Grostè gondola at 2,500 metres, where boarders and freestylers from all over the world have been having fun since 2000. The centrepiece of the shapers' art is an XL park with 50,000 m² and around 40 obstacles divided into three areas: S, M and L. From boxes and rails to step-ups, step-downs, fun boxes, spines and kickers, every conceivable type of obstacle is available in various designs. The Mini Ursus Park at Zeledria Express has been open since winter 2015/2016. Small boxes and easy rails await the very young jibbers here.
The Brenta Park near Pinzolo is no less impressive. It is located in the neighbouring ski area of Pinzolo at around 1,900 m below the black Grual piste. Various obstacles for every level offer a large playground for everyone. Two easy fun boxes and mini-rails are ideal for beginners and boarder kids, while the large rails and up to 9 m rainbows are reserved for advanced riders.
Freestyle fans will get their money's worth in the Marilleva snowpark. The park offers a varied terrain with natural and artificial features that provide an ideal training ground for beginners and professionals alike. Located in the Doss della Pesa area, the snowpark boasts a powerful snowmaking system and easy access thanks to the 4-seater chair lift.
