Ski area Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi
Beginners and leisurely skiers will enjoy the wide runs at the Laurin and Florian lifts, whereas more the adventurous will enjoy the slalom and speed stretches. The black slalom slope at Puflatsch is the most difficult run and offers an altitude difference of 250 m - a must for cracks! The snow park at Seiser Alm including kickers, rails and boxes also provides all sorts of fun.
The connection to Val Gardena via St. Ulrich offers even more variety. With an upgrade to the Dolomiti Superskipass, you can use a total of 1,200 km of piste in 12 ski areas, including the Sella Ronda, the spectacular day circuit around the Sella Massif with ski and lift!
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. Aside from the piste the activities are very diverse. For example, you have the opportunity to take a winter hike or glide through the fairy-tale snow scenery with a horse-drawn sleigh.
Snowpark: Snowpark Seiser Alm Castelrotto
Designed and shapes by F-Tech Snowpark Constructions, the "KINGLAURIN Snowpark" provides great opportunities for both beginners and experts. This unusual park is not only the second-largest in Italy, but was also awarded with the "ISPO Snowsummit Award" and therefore is one of the 5 most attractive parks in entire Europe.
Located on the Laurin piste the park over 1.5 km long and is divided into 2 areas. The upper area offers the Easy and Medium lines which are perfect for trying out the first freestyle moves on rails, boxes, whoops and kickers. The more experienced will find this area just as enjoyable.
Lower down is the area for pros and experts with a medium rail, medium kicker, wood and a pro kicker line. Be it a jib-pipe, donkey tube, wallride, gap kicker or the 120 m long half-pipe - every freestyle junkie is sure to find what they are looking for! The wood line is comprised completely of naturally designed wooden obstacles.
