Ski area Oberhof - Fallbach slope
The Oberhof ski area may be a rather tranquil area, but it has always been the epitome of winter fun in Thuringia! In the winter sports stronghold of Oberhof, you will be particularly impressed by the descent down the "Fallbachhang". Winter sports enthusiasts will have a lot of fun here. Thanks to the snow-making facilities, the slope is always well prepared and perfectly groomed. In the evening, descents are possible under floodlights. In addition, Oberhof also has the "An der Golfwiese" slope, which is around 500 m long and is even more tranquil. Suhl also has 2 small ski areas: The "blackest piste north of the Alps" can be found on the Salzberg in Goldlauter-Heidersbach, for example. The descent is about 1 km long. There is another slope for beginners and families in the district of Vesser.

Snowpark Oberhof - Fallbach slope: Snowpark
A freestyle playground has been created on the Fallbach slope in Oberhof on the private initiative of some young snowboarders. Both beginners and advanced riders can enjoy themselves in the Oberhof fun park. If there is enough snow, obstacles such as various boxes, rails and tubes are groomed and even freestyle beginners can try their first jumps on simple kickers and boxes.
