Cross-country Maurach

With a total of around 232.5 kilometres of cross-country trails, the Achensee region offers one of the largest and best-maintained networks of trails in Austria. The trails are divided into 118.5 kilometres of skating trails and 114 kilometres of classic-style trails and are groomed separately so that both classic cross-country skiers and skaters will find ideal conditions. Around 40 kilometres of trails can be covered with snow. Suitable cross-country skiing courses are offered for beginners in all towns in the region.

There are a total of 31 kilometres of cross-country trails in Maurach, around 13 km of which are skating trails. The surrounding trails also invite you to enjoy exciting tours. The cross-country trail from Pertisau into the Falzthurntal valley is particularly recommended - a real highlight for cross-country skiing enthusiasts: The trail runs for 14 kilometres along steep Karwendel walls into a sunny valley. Also popular is the Guffertloipe with a length of 9 km, which promises pure cross-country skiing pleasure. In Pertisau there is also a specially designated dog trail with a length of 2 km.

The entire cross-country ski trail network in the Achensee region bears the Tyrolean cross-country ski trail seal of approval and therefore fulfils the highest quality standards.
