Ski area Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch

With the "Zillertal Superskipass" you can choose between 542 kilometres of pistes in the Zillertal Arena, at the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, in the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000, in the Hochzillertal - Hochfügen - Spieljoch ski area and the Wildkogel Arena in Bramberg. The ski areas are linked to each other via a free bus and train shuttle service. For some years now, the Zillertal Arena has been offering free Wi-Fi in its ski areas! So you can share the latest experiences and highlights directly with your loved ones at home (see ski region).

The Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region in the Zillertal is one of the largest ski regions in the Zillertal. Thanks to the connection with Hochfügen (by piste/train) and Spieljoch-Fügen (by ski bus), you have around 110 kilometres (incl. ski routes) of varied pistes at your disposal. The valley station of the "Hochfügen" Ski Dorado is located at 1500 metres above sea level. This guarantees winter sports fans guaranteed snow until the end of April. The high valley is ideal for skiers looking for a ski area to suit all requirements. The lifts open up magnificent terrain up to an altitude of 2,360 metres.

Après ski Kaltenbach - Ried - Stumm

In addition to skiing fun on perfectly groomed pistes and in the freestyle area of the Betterpark, the region scores with first-class gastronomy. Numerous award-winning huts and restaurants spoil visitors with high-quality food, often in a stylish, luxurious atmosphere. Highlights include the exclusive VIP gondola, internationally recognised huts and the Ski Food Festival, which presents culinary delights in the ski area.

There is no shortage of culinary highlights in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region: rustic, cosy huts and Alpine pastures line the pistes and entice visitors with deckchairs and open fires. The Kristallhütte and Wedelhütte are particularly exclusive - at the start of the season at the Ski Food Festival and at the end at ALPICON, many huts become hot spots. After a successful day's skiing, the Postalm and sChic Bar, right by the Hochzillertal valley station, invite you to enjoy Jagertee and mulled wine. In the evening, the action shifts to the pubs and clubs, where people flirt and party until the early hours of the morning!

The Kristallhütte, at 2,150 metres at the Kristall-Express mountain station, offers special experiences. Guests can look forward to young, creative cuisine at attractive prices. Fresh and regional products are served. Inside the hut, you will find an open fireplace, cosy parlours and its own wine cellar. In good weather, the sun terrace is open for you, offering a bar, deckchairs and waterbeds.

If you want to do some sport away from the piste, you can enjoy swimming, ice skating, bowling, snowshoeing or tobogganing - almost anything is possible in Kaltenbach! The KABOOM leisure centre in Kaltenbach is particularly impressive with several attractions and play areas covering more than 3,000 square metres. A trip to Fügen to the Erlebnistherme Zillertal is also worthwhile: guests can look forward to more than 1,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor pools, wave pools, bubble and massage loungers, as well as water games. Action for the little ones, relaxation for the grown-ups - with this recipe for success, the thermal spa is the ultimate retreat for relaxation, fun and adventure.

Snowpark: Betterpark Hochzillertal Kaltenbach - Ried - Stumm

The "Betterpark" freestyle park in Hochzillertal is located right next to the Schnee Express 8-seater chairlift at an altitude of 2,050 to 2,120 metres in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski area.

The park's own lift takes you directly and comfortably back to the top so that you can smoothly move on to the next ride. There are three lines with different levels of difficulty in the park, so that beginners, intermediates and pros can put their talent to the test on kickers and the like. An additional treat is the jib line at the end of the park, which features various boxes and rails. The biggest highlight is probably the XL kicker, which promises a great show, especially for those on the chairlift, and the 100-metre-long superpipe, which is located just below the park at an altitude of 1,950 metres. The new "Snowpark Lamark" at the Lamark lifts has also been open since December 2016. The snow park, designed as a small park, consists of three lines with 13 elements that appeal to all skill levels and promise a lot of fun!

After a long freestyle day or to take a break during the runs, the chill area with containers, deckchairs and an appropriate sound system invites you to linger. Freestylers will find a number of other snow parks throughout the Zillertal where they can let off steam, including in Mayrhofen, Gerlos and on the Hintertux Glacier. These are also the stations of the popular Zillertal Välley Rälley.
