Ehrwald
The traditional Tyrolean village of Ehrwald lies at 994 metres above sea level in a sunny valley, framed by the mighty Zugspitze, the Mieminger Kette and the Wetterstein mountains. Ehrwald offers pistes of all levels of difficulty. Old ski bunnies, boarders and young ski beginners will all get their money's worth here! There are many opportunities for children in particular to learn to ski in a relaxed and fun atmosphere on the Ehrwalder Alm. In addition to unlimited skiing fun, the Ehrwalder Alm valley run also offers night tobogganing with sledge, skibob or even snowfox.Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena
Gorgeous mountains, traditional villages and a snow-white, enchanting sea of peaks make up the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Framed by the Mieminger and Wetterstein mountain chains is the Ehrenwalder basin, where the seven Zugspitz Arena resorts are to be found. Whether skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating or hiking, pretty much everything is possible in and around the Zugspitz Arena resorts. In addition to sporting activities, the resorts entice visitors on a shopping stroll or in for a snack in a cosy inn. There is snow security through until spring on the Zugspitzplatt in the Zugspitz glacier area. In addition to the Zugspitz, a further 6 ski areas are available.
