Ski area Bödele-Schwarzenberg

The Bödele-Schwarzenberg ski area within sight of Lake Constance offers a varied winter sports experience with around 25 kilometres of pistes and 12 lifts. On the one hand, the gentle slopes on the Hochälpelekopf (1,467 m) with a total of 9 km of blue pistes are very beginner-friendly, while advanced skiers and snowboarders can explore 12 km of red or 4 km of black runs. A highlight is the challenging Schwarzenberg descent, some of which offer spectacular panoramic views. The unspoilt nature of the ski area is particularly popular with families, who are occasionally greeted personally by the ski area mascot "Rübe" and find special children's areas as well as ski schools and practice lifts for the little ones.

There are also rustic huts and inns right next to the pistes, where traditional Austrian cuisine is usually served after a cosy stop-off. Another plus point of Bödele-Schwarzenberg is that the ski resort is just 10 km or 12 minutes by car from Dornbirn, making it ideal for day trippers.

The "3 Täler Pass" also allows you to enjoy carefree ski area hopping. The lift pass is valid in 31 ski areas in Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Allgäu with a total of around 360 kilometres of pistes.

Après ski Bregenz

Some placid hikes on foot or on snow shoes are a must-do for tourists here. A network of hikes of around 30km of non-prepared paths leads e.g. up to Pfänder. If you make up the peak, having crossed 600 m altitude difference, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over Lake Constance, the Rhine Valley, the Allgäu and the Swiss mountains. On a 30 minute round track through the Alpen Wildlife Park, big and small hikers be able to observe wild boars, deer, Alpine ibexes or mouflons with a bit of luck.

After a long day on the mountain, the pulsating state capital Bregenz is still awake for a long time. For water rats and wellness enthusiasts, there is the indoor swimming pool in Bregenz for extensive swimming fun and the sauna area in the "Vitalium" to recharge your batteries. The evening starts off comfortably in the numerous restaurants, gallery cafés and beer bars. Later on, you can enjoy a cool drink in one of the various trendy bars or dance in the "Kali". In Bregenz there is something going on almost around the clock, so that the city can also regularly boast of cultural and musical highlights.

Snowpark: Snowpark Bregenz

There is no snow park in Bregenz, unfortunately. However, freestylers will find a fantastic area only about one hour by car away from Bregenz: the "Burton Snowpark Damüls" in the ski area Damüls-Mellau, where skiers and snowboarders of all levels will feel comfortable and can work on their skills. An experienced crew monitors and maintains this freestyle paradise in a sunny spot. There is a variety of obstacles, such as rails, boxes, kickers, picnic tables and a quarter pipe. The chill out area keeps you entertained with some good music and offers a relaxed atmosphere.

In addition, the Small Park at the Uga mountain station complements the Main Park. Here you can go wild on a 3-player kicker line, a 3-player jib-tubes line, banks and waves. The two parks are of course connected with each other and thus form the new "All Mountain Line" from the Uga top station down to the Walisgaden valley station. Are you able to resist?
