Ski vacations Soldeu – in the heart of the Grandvalira!

Soldeu

The lively village of Soldeu lies at a snow-secure altitude of 1,710 m and is situated directly at the pistes of the largest ski area of the country, the Grandvalira. Just like the neighbouring resort El Tarter, Soldeu is part of the lift network, which connects the resorts perfectly and is also well-known as venue of different FIS World Cup races. Owing to the communication road, Soldeu is very well connected with the capital Andorra de Vella and the other ski resorts and is as such like a magnet for Spanish and French ski lovers. Its location directly on the slopes makes for fantastic views across the Pyrenees.

The village is full of houses in chalet style with stone walls and wooden roofs. Moreover there are several restaurants, bars and dance locations, so that it's impossible to get bored after your day out skiing. A leisure centre with a thermal spa, a swimming pool and an ice rink ensure additional entertainment. Here everyone, young and old, will pass an enjoyable winter holiday – and all this in front of a marvellous mountain panorama.

Grandvalira

Located directly at the border to France is the Grandvalira region. It stretches over the two Andorran districts Encamp and Canillo, and presents itself as the largest skiing region in the Pyrenees. Thanks to its great geographical location, quality snow and sunny skiing days are almost guaranteed! The towns and villages in the region are all different, and each has something to offer everyone – regardless if you are planning a family or party holiday. Make sure you still have some space left in your suitcases: thanks to the low taxes, the region is a shopping paradise! A holiday in the tiny nation is always something special – visit Grandvalira and see for yourself!
